| Entry | During the morning enemy registered all barrages in the MACUKOVO VALLEY vicinity, also BANGOR RAVINE. Our artillery continues bombardment of enemy lines. Patrol to PITON DES QUATRES ARBRES encountered 2 parties of Bulgars about 20 strong each and were forced to retire to a ravine to avoid any attempt at being surrounded, the Bulgars did not follow up and so scouts were sent out to reconnoitre whereupon the enemy fired about 30 shells evidently searching for our patrol. No further trace was seen of the enemy and patrol returned. 4 OR rejoined. |
