| Entry | Work on trenches etc. Grass fires burning in front of the line throughout the day, but did not cross the SELIMLI DERE. Patrol of 1 Officer and 20 OR from AK.2 at 2200 hrs up to PT. 1162-1788 and from there small reconnoitring patrol up to enemy wire at PT. 11560-17845. Nothing to report, the wind being too high for them to hear anything. Enemy fired rocket at 2215 hrs which started another large grass fire. This was done along the front evidently with this object in view. He started more fires in front of THE NOSE, BOYAO and PYRAMIDE this time by hand about 0400 hrs. |
