Entry A patrol went down HAND 3 at 0530hrs, a Bulgar was spotted and shot. About 1415hrs 10HE (4.2) burst just S of XMAS CAMP, also a few field gun shells burst over C3 and C4 during the day. One of our snipers killed Bulgar in O5. Patrol down HAND4 brought back a notice in English and French, dealing with revolution in RUSSIA. A telephone wire was also found running parallel to our trenches. At 2230hrs 5 field gun shells burst over C6 near a Vickers Gun which had just been firing bursts. Enemy machine guns fired at intervals throughout the night. Remarks. 1 OR to hospital sick.
