| Entry | The 78th Inf Bde Group was relieved by the 66th Inf Bde and moved into the 79th Inf Bde area. The Bn moved up into the advanced line trenches C Sector and relieved the 8th DCLI. The enemy shelled the VLADAJA RAVINE heavily between 1900 + 2000hrs, as Coys were coming up, this continued intermittently until 2200hrs. There were a large number of "dud" shells. Relief was complete at 0130hrs. The rest of the night was comparatively quiet. Remarks. 3 OR sick to hospital, 10 OR rejoin Battn. |
