| Entry | Bright warm day. Hostile plane passed over the sector at 1030hrs and 20 more at 1700hrs travelling S towards JANES, they returned at 1730hrs. At 1710hrs 4HE (4.2) were fired on to WHALE BACK. Our patrols heard faint working on the reverse slope P5 our artillery was turned on. Quiet night on the sector with the exception of WHALE BACK which was shelled intermittently throughout the night. 2 platoons move up to occupy behind WHALE BACK. |
