Location Greece, Front Line "E" Sector
Entry There was no shelling during the day. Cold wind. 2 of our patrols got out to wire in front of sangars on D5 and saw the garrison, 15 men come up our patrol could not bomb or fire owing to 2 of our men having become separated from the remainder. A Bulgar hat was brought back. Another patrol early in the morning went out and got to the sangars which had been evacuated they were found to be not strong and only roughly erected the wire in front was in places only a few strands thick. This patrol was fired on and bombs were also thrown by enemy in a direction no where near the patrol. A Bulgar dagger and bombs and a proclamation in French were brought back. Remarks. 1 OR to hospital wounded.
