| Entry | 2LT THOMPSON took a party of 4 OR and 2 stretchers out to position raided previous evening and brought back 1 dead and also 1 OR who had been missing but was still alive. The enemy shelled the sector slightly during the day and the trench mortar from PETIT COURONNE knocked in a Vickers Gun emplacement on the right (C20) no casualties sustained. In the evening the Battn was relieved by the 9th GLOSTER REGT completed at 2115hrs. The battn returned to the MAIN LINE at 420. Remarks. 1 OR to hospital sick. |
