| Entry | Enemy aeroplane seen falling in direction of LAR DOIRAN 0845hrs. Digging was commenced on front trenches by day. New line of wire commenced at night just outside original line of protective wire. Flanking trench 20 yds long commenced on F end of CA. Pamphlets in Bulgarian were placed out in conspicuous positions near enemy wire last night by patrols. Enemy aeroplanes active over sector up to mid day. Artillery active both sides during day. Enemy shelled ground on rear of C4 about 2200hrs and on centre of front line at intervals during night. Patrols had nothing to report. Remarks. 112 reinforcements 1 (3rd Battn) from 26th Div Base Depot. |
