Entry | Enemy shelled right sector - C Coy -0800hrs casualties 1 killed, 2 slightly wounded - 1 8th Rl Scots Fus attached wounded. N end of VLADAJA RAVINE shelled 0830hrs and FUSILIER RAVINE 1200hrs. Between 1745 and 1800hrs our artillery dropped 8 shells in the vicinity of bivouacs of centre and reserve and left Coys - B, -D and A Coys. Casualties 3 OR wounded. Lewis Gun detachments relieved those of 8th R Scots Fusiliers and No 4 Section 78th M.G. Coy relieved No 1 Section 77th M.G. Coy. Quiet night. One patrol of 1 officer and 5 OR from A, B, and C Coys went out to examine enemy's wire and trenches. 2Lt BATE located several enemy standing patrols. Remarks. 2 OR to hospital sick, 3 to hospital wounded. |
