Location Greece, Horseshoe Hill
Entry 0830hrs 15 shrapnel on C2 - 1 man wounded. Enemy aeroplane over HORSESHOE HILL for about ten minutes 0900hrs. Enemy shelled founted (H.E.) about 1500hrs. A Coy sent two platoons to work on Post W. Very quiet during night. Patrols from CI, C2 and C4 all night but had nothing to report. Enemy were blasting on E slopes of 535 between 1900 and 2100hrs and our artillery were turned on. R.E.'s put up fresh wire in front of original wire on front of CI.
