Entry Enemy's field guns & T Mortars were active about 10am. Lieut RE Kemble - No 12308, Pte J Simonds and 13277 Pte A Jennings all of B Coy were wounded by a high-explosive shell. The parapet round 113 was much damaged, Our Artillery replied heavily & effectively. During the night a patrol brought in the rifle and equipment of the German who was shot on the previous night and also 2 grenades. One officer - 12 other ranks went on leave. The men are keen on night patrols & work well & intelligently.
