| Entry | Weather very wet - which is affecting the trenches. After the more or less severe frost the chalk trenches are subsiding in many places. We are dealing with the damage in the best & most systematic way possible, taking into consideration the number of men available for this work at our disposal, The enemy would appear too, to be fully occupied repairing his trenches, as he has been unusually quiet today. |
