Entry Two Coys employed on Div fatigues - remainder carried out usual training programme. A new bomb-throwing gun invented by G Knight tried. It was not altogether a success - though it is hoped by some small alterations to improve it. 2 NCOs and 10 OR went to VALHEUREUX for a Trench Mortar Course. Capt HGF Longhurst - Lt & QM R Guthrie and 13 OR went on leave to England. L/Cpl Godfrey - D Coy - died in No. 23 General Hospital of illness.
