Entry | The Battn was relieved in the trenches by the 8th Norfolks without incident at 3-35pm. Our "A" Coy was temporarily withdrawn, "C" Coy taking over sectors 117-118 & "B" Coy 116 to facilitate the relief by the Norfolks who propose holding the front line with 2 Coys. The Battn went into Billets at ALBERT taking over those previously occupied by the Norfolk Regt. A & D Coys bathed from 5pm to 9pm. 2/Lt Hollis became Battn sniping officer from 30th inst. C Sgt Major Watkins & 3 OR proceeded on 8 days leave. |
