| Entry | A.C & D Coys marched to the HAPPY VALLEY - starting at 6pm on the 9th. The place lies half way between BRAY and the CITADEL. Most of the Officers & men had to sleep in the open as no shelter existed. Digging started a once. At 7pm "A" Coy relieved a coy of the 8th SUFFOLKS at the CITADEL to carry on mining fatigues etc. |
