| Entry | The CO and Adjutant went over to AVELUY to see Genl Hibbert in the morning. Plenty of rain about still. One of the four men evacuated returned to duty and another man evacuated for influenza. "A" & "C" Coys, under Major Winstanley went into the trenches at night. The Germans shelled our Transport in the village of AVELUY, but did no damage. The Germans constantly shell our aeroplanes without success. |
