Entry Weather fine. As a result of 1/Kings movement, much entanglement and trench were added. The identity disc of Sgt Denham (see 21.9.14 above) was found in pocket of a German shot near No 1 Trench. 900 Blankets arrived. Dispositions altered on Evg of 7th Oct and now are: 1 Royal Berkshire Rgt RIFLE MOUND inclusive to Canal. 1 Coy in forward trenches plus one section at [?]. One Coy in reserve at La Metz Farm. One Coy at rest at Englefield. One Company in Billets at SOUPIR. Machine Gun section remains on E Bank of Canal. Body of Pte Newell killed 14.9.14 found and buried. Pte Moore wounded. All vehicles and horses at SOUPIR.
