Location France, Carnoy
Entry Reorganization complete. A Coy 3 Platoons, B coy 2, C coy 3, D Coy 3, complete with Lewis gun teams. Orders to move at 4a.m. 1st but cancelled. Much material salvaged. Men had change clothes [as written] and all details up. Men now rested and in good spirits. Strength returns for month. Casualties etc., on sheet attached. H.T. Goodland Lieut.Col. Comdg 5th R. Berkshire Regt. 31.8.18.
