Entry 10a.m. Battalion relieved by the 7th Suffolk Regt in I. 2 Sector. Marched into billets in ECOLE des JUENES FILLES. Battalion Headqrs in the RUE GAMBETTA. Finding daily Working Parties for Battalion in the line. In view of predicted Raid, special party consisting of 10 officers and 220 other ranks, under command of major J.S. SHARP proceeded to LATTRE St. QUENTIN for special training. 2Lt A.T. WESTON rejoined from hospital. 2Lt G.H. COOKE promoted Lt. (Sept 1st 1916)
