Entry 1am. The C.O. and Lieutenant EDWARDS were asked to Guide 2 Battalions of the 75th Inf. Brigade into the new Assembly trenches that had been dug astride the MASH Valley. This was successfully carried out, and both Battalions reached their objective, i.e. the enemy's front line trench at the head of the MASH Valley, before daylight, without any opposition. 5pm. About 5pm the Battalion was ordered to withdraw and proceeded to billets at BOURZINCOURT, the rest of the Brigade were at ALBERT. Billets were reached about 11pm. Casualties. Other Ranks Killed 1. Wounded 2.
