Entry 11am. Lieutenant and Adjutant GOLD was buried in AVELUY Cemetry. 2pm. The Battalion strength 340 all Ranks, the Brigade working and carrying parties leking? rejoined, was ordered to relieve 7th Suffolks, A and B Companies were accommodated in the front line between DORSET Street and DUNFERMLINE Street, C and D Companies and Battn H.Q. in the USNA Redoubt. The relief was completed without incident, and the trenches were found to be very wet. Casualties Nil.
