| Entry | Inspection of C and D Companies by General Sir Charles Munro Comdg 2nd Army and presentation of Ribbons. Military Cross to Lt L.D. Cotterell and D.C.M. to Corporal Gee and Pte Holford Brigade Boxing tournament at Bethune. One entry in each weight. Drum and Fife band played at the tournament 5 - 6 pm. The enemy attacked and captured the Craters in Sector D 2 Held by the 7th East Surrey Regt. The Battalion stood to Arms all night. Boxing Tournament stopped owing to the above attack. |
