| Entry | Everything normal. Hostile aircraft very active. Headquarters trench shelled with light field guns between 8 am and 9 am - no damage done. Beautiful day, trenches drying up well. Enemy machine guns were active at night. GOC 23rd Division and BGGS 4th Corps went round our front line after dusk. 2/Lt Hanney to Grenade Class. |
