Entry Battn marched at 7.30am as a Rt. Flank Guard to the Brigade which was marching as an A.G. to the Divn. This was a test for the sending of orders and messages and keeping Communication by means of Cylists of 12th Divn Cyclist Coys. Arrived at CLARQUES at Noon. Halted till 1.15pm and then put out outposts in conjunction with Essex Regt on our left. At 3.15pm position of billets and Outposts changed. We both moved to the left. At 5.30pm battns withdrew Outposts and no more work for this night; Very misty day good billets at CLARQUES near THEROUANNE.
