| Entry | The Enemy sent over shells at intervals during the day but did no damage. Relief by 11th Middlesex began at 6p.m. and finished at 10p.m. Motor Lorries provided at Le Touret (2 1/4 miles from Festubert) only 3 turned up they made a double journey 7 more came about midnight so 3 Coys A, C and D got a lift B coy marched and got to Billets at LES CHOQUAUX at 11.30p.m. Battalion all in by 1.30a.m. 5th. |
