| Entry | Bombardment by our guns began at 5a.m smoke curtain started at 5.56a.m. Dense clouds of smoke going towards German Lines who replied with Rifle Fire and Artillery many blind shells 3 men slightly wounded. Parts of parapet in 118 and 120 knocked down. Quiet afternoon. Our M.G. active during afternoon and Bombers in Evening. Gaps in wire closed up. |
