| Entry | At about 11p.m. Captain G.W. Hopton and 2nd Lieut A.R. Treherne, Regtal [Regimental] Intelligence Officer, were both mortally wounded by rifle fire while outside Trench 115. 2nd Lieut Treherne died in a few minutes after being brought back to the trenches.
