Location France, En Route
Entry Sighted land at 1100. Docked at 1415. Debarked 1500. 2 platoons of A Coy were left at the Dock for unloading purposes. Packs were carried in lorries, Coys marched to the Tramway by which method they were conveyed to SIDI BISHR. Battalion arrived at their destination 9 miles east of Alexandria, close to the sea, at 1800. All material had to be drawn and Camp pitched. Tea served to the men at 2030 and rations drawn.
