| Entry | LEFT SUB SECTOR. One platoon of D Coy raided enemy post in Orchard at Q.8.c.6.3. Enemy barrage in reply was light and chiefly on Reserve Line. No prisoners were taken. Post was found to be strongly held and many casualties were inflicted on enemy. Our casualties were 2/Lt Tarrant wounded and missing. 1 OR killed, 2 OR wounded. Relived by 2/8th Worcesters, relief complete 1am. Marched to BUSNES Chateau and embussed at 4am. Arrived in camp at LINGHEM at 7am. |
