War Diary

1918-05-21
Regiment 2/4th Royal Berkshire
Location France, Robceq
Entry Weather still fine and very warm. Our Artillery was very active during the day and night, especially at 4am with 18pdr Shrapnel over Enemy's Support Lines. Enemy Artillery was less active than usual during the period. Our aircraft were very active during the day, but more active at night. Bombing planes being heard continually. One Balloon was up at 5.20 am. Patrols were sent out as usual but the night being again very light, little useful information was received. The enemy has not been aggressive, and is apparently actively engaged in digging and wiring.
