Entry Weather continued warm and bright. Artillery was less active than usual, Companies carried on with Instruction and inspections. Bridge guards were posted by the Battalion on Bridges at P.27.b.3.5, P.21.b.1.7 and P.27.b.9.1 to be relieved every 7 days (Reference map FRANCE 36A SE). The Battalion relieved the 2/5th BN GLOUCESTERSHIRE REGIMENT in the front line trenches, relief commencing at 10pm and being completed without incident or casualties at 12.45am 19/5/18.
