Regiment 2/4th Royal Berkshire
Location France, Savy Wood
Entry The wire along the whole of the front line of the sector was patrolled during the night, nothing was seen of the enemy. The extremely fine weather being favourable there was a good deal of aerial activity but apart from this the day passed quietly. The Commanding Officer left the Battalion to attend a four day Conference at Corps Headquarters, and the command of the Battalion was taken over by Captain J S DARBY during his absence. Battalion routine Orders Parts 1 and 11 were issued.
