Location France, Maissemy
Entry The day was spent in preparing for the relief which took place at dusk. The Battalion commenced to move at 5.30pm and the relief was reported complete at 8pm. During the night two patrols went out under 2/Lieuts ST LEGIER and WHITFIELD respectively. No enemy were encountered.
