The Billets consisted of Adrian huts but accommodation was limited and the huts in but fair condition. Troops had to be rather split up and were somewhat crowded. Operation Orders to move to BEAUVOIS were issued to the Battalion at 9.30am. The march commenced at 11.30am and the had of the column arrived at BEAUVOIS at 1pm. Rain had washed away most of the snow and the roads though muddy were in a much better condition for marching. In the evening orders were received and issued for the Battalion to move to the Billets for the Reserve Battalion in the BOIS d'HOLNON. |
