Entry | The Battalion moved out of ROSIERES at 8.30am in formation as ordered overnight. A thaw had set in and travelling was bad. The Battalion arrived at CURCHY soon after midday and moved straight into shelters of a few large barns and had dinner at once from the cookers. They then proceeded to billets allotted:- The Battalion less "A" Coy on CURCHY. "A" Coy at ETALON. Major ANDERSON and the Adjutant did not move with the Battalion but leaving ROSIERES at 8am proceeded under Divisional arrangements to reconnoitre the Support Battalion Area of the sector of the line to which the Battalion will move. They rejoined the regiment at CURCHY in the evening. |
