Regiment 2/4th Royal Berkshire
Location France, Havrincourt Wood
Entry During the day the Bn was reorganised and as much refitting as possible was carried out. A party consisting of one Officer and 50 OR was sent to the Transport at EQUANCOURT as Bn Reserve. The wood 500-800 yards East of the Camp was lightly shelled at intervals by the enemy. In the afternoon an Enemy Aeroplane was very active over the neighbourhood, bombs were dropped SW and E of the Camp and one of our observation balloons which was up in a SW direction was attacked and was observed to come down in flames, later another balloon was attacked but this proved unsuccessful.
