| Entry | Working parties as usual. The enemy fired a few shells in the morning. Our guns did not fire all day. We received orders that the Battalion would go to SOUASTRE instead of AUTHIE. Capt Attride & the Interpreter went over re billeting. A cooler day; rain commenced about 5.30p.m. and continued nearly all night. A letter was received from the County Association - Copy attached. |
