| Entry | Maps of the Rangoon area, plus photographic maps, and aerial photo images of Rangoon City have now been issued by the Ships Security Officer. The scale of issue is very liberal, and every section cdr is able to have one copy ONE INCH, and also 1/25000 maps. 1200hrs "Mae West" lifejackets issued on scale one per man. Socks have also been issued on scale of 2prs per man. 1630hrs. "Horse racing" with small wooden horses and a canvas "course" on forward deck. It is announced on the wireless news that 26 Div has landed at the mouth of the RANGOON RIVER. |
