| Entry | [7-12th] Bn move to MARVE BEACH near BOMBAY to practice combined operations and landings from the sea with A.L.Cs and fleming lifeboats. Day and night operations were carried out, an all day exercise to practice advance from beaches to our objective and dealing with opposition on way to main objective. This was carried out successfully, but the troops were rather affected by marching during the heat of the day. River crossings were also effected during this exercise, using recce boats and local craft. |
