| Entry | Field Marshall MONTGOMERY visits CELLE and officiates at investiture and Service held in the Church. This was followed by a march past by reps of all units in 43 Div. Afterwards in the afternoon, a Gymkhana was held in the Sports Platz, the events being - 1. Potatoe Race 2. Musical Chairs. 3. Trotting Race. 4. Mounted Tug o' War. 5. Dog Race. There were also many side shows which were very entertaining. |
