| Entry | REF MAP CENTRAL EUROPE 1;100,000 K.5. LUBECK 0200: The battalion resumed the advance towards LUBECK and as was expected no opposition was encountered and LUBECK was entered at first light. During the day the batalion took up positions around all principal road junctions in its area of LUBECK. Its two main tasks were firstly to round up all members of the German armed forces, and secondly to stop the influx of refugees from the EAST. |
