Entry 0900: Recce Party under the command of MAJOR T.W.B. MIDDLETON left the battalion for the area of UELZEN. 0915: The Commanding Officer spoke to the whole of the battalion. He reviewed the general war situation in GERMANY and told the battalion of the possible tasks they would have to carry out. Reference to Appendices: REF MAP CENTRAL EUROPE 1:100,000 SHT M5 SALZWDEL.
