Entry | The advance party set about arranging accn for the Bn in the small town of LOKEREN. They received a friendly welcome from the inhabitants. 1900: The first party of personnel proceeding on 7 days leave to UK left GHENT. Personnel had to have completed 6 months service abroad to become eligible for this leave, those with longest service abroad went first.
