| Entry | [16 - 18th] The Adv Party of the Bn under the comd of MAJOR R.A.S. WARD, MC. left for HAIFA, where it embarked for ITALY. 1430: The Bn Football Team played 1 Green Howards. Result:- 2 WILTS - 1 : 1 G.H. - 4. This was the first game to be lost this month. Div Sigs Exercise "FLASH" . The Bn was represented on this exercise by MAJOR T.W.B. MIDDLETON and LT. A.L. HARMER. The subject of this exercise was, firstly to test the efficiency of the intercomn within the Div, secondly to exercise HQ Staffs. It was most successful. References to Appendices: APPENDIX "C". |
