| Entry | The C.O. held a conference attended by all Coy Comds. He told them that 5 Div was not being relieved, as arranged, by 4 Div for operational reasons, and it was not known how much longer we would remain in PALESTINE, but it was quite possible it would be for a further two or three months. In view of this the DIVISIONAL COMMANDER decided that trg should not be so intensive, but designed to keep all ranks physically and mentally alert. Stress was to be laid on weapon training and sport. Trg of any description was as far as possible to be on a competitive basis. |
