| Entry | [25 - 27th] The battalion moved by road to the M.W.T.C. at TRIPOLI, SYRIA. The exercise began on the morning of the 27th NOV. The object of the exercise was to practise a brigade and supporting arms, in the occupation of a defensive position in mountainous country, and in a subsequent pursuit of a withdrawing enemy and the attack on a mountain feature. From this battalion point of view the exercise was a success and all ranks, especially the R.A. reinforcements benefited from it. Reference to Appendices: For details of move see Appendix 'G'.
