Location	Khassa, Palestine
Entry	A thunderstorm on the night 6/7 resulted in the death of two private soldiers. They were occupants of a batmen's tent that had 5 occupants in all, which was struck by lightning. Two of the other three occupants were injured and the third one was unhurt. This thunderstorm was the beginning of two days heavy rain which turned the camp into a quagmire and temporarily put an end to outdoor training.
