Location	Anzio, Italy
Entry	Yet another quiet day - enemy artillery and mortars seem strangely inactive. The big attack on EAST of beachead was going ahead and the expected counter-thrust on our front did not materialise. A light enemy A/Tk gun fired about a dozen rounts [sic] into 'C' Coy area. It was in full view and was totally destroyed by fire from the Divisional artillery, which came down in under 5 minutes.
