Regiment	2nd Wiltshire
Location	Anzio, Italy
Entry	0530: A search was made of the area in which the German patrol was ambushed and one German was found. He was quite unhurt, and had become separate from the patrol and had decided to lie up and go back the next night. During the day there was a slight increase in mortar and shell fire but no casualties were suffered. Harassing was carried out by our 3" Mortars.
