Entry Yet another quiet day. Early on in the night a Jeep load of mines went up in 'C' Coy area, the RE Party with it suffering casualties - 2 killed, 3 wounded and 3 Missing. 2/LIEUTS CURTIS and CRAWSHAW again took out patrols to raid enemy posts on SOUTH side of MOLETTA RIVER. The Commanding Officer went back to 'B' Ech for two days rest, and Major A.W.S. Hooley assumed comd of the Bn in the meantime. CAPT. T.W.B. MIDDLETON assumed Comd of 'B' Coy vice CAPT. R. LUCAS who was wounded earlier on.
